Medical Disclaimer

1. The Services do not provide medical advice

All content in the Peptiq app and on peptiq.app is provided for general record-keeping and informational purposes only. It is not medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, nutritional, or legal advice, and it must not be treated as such.

Nothing in the Services is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified healthcare professional with any question you have about a medical condition or a treatment regimen. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read or recorded in the Services.

2. Peptiq is not a medical device

Peptiq has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, or any other regulatory body. It is intended to function as a general wellness and personal record-keeping tool, not as a device for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, prevention, or treatment of disease.

The App must not be used in any clinical, diagnostic, emergency, or life-critical setting, and must not be relied upon where an error, delay, or data loss could contribute to injury.

3. Peptiq provides no dosing guidance of any kind

This is a design decision, not an oversight. The App deliberately contains:

• No dose calculator and no reconstitution, dilution, concentration, or unit-conversion maths.
• No protocol library, no suggested cycles, no sample regimens, and no "commonly used" amounts.
• No recommendations about which compound to use, how much, how often, by what route, or for how long.
• No safety assessment of anything you enter — the App will not warn you that a value is high, low, unusual, or dangerous, and the absence of a warning means nothing.
• No interaction checking against other medications, supplements, or conditions.

Every number the App displays is a number you typed, reflecting instructions you received from a licensed healthcare professional. Peptiq neither validates nor corrects those entries. If you mistype a value, the App will faithfully record the mistake.

4. We do not sell, supply, or endorse any substance

Peptiq sells only the App. We do not sell, distribute, source, import, compound, prescribe, or ship any peptide, medication, supplement, or other substance. We do not link to sellers, we hold no affiliation with any pharmacy, clinic, laboratory, supplier, or manufacturer, and we accept no sponsorship, affiliate commission, or advertising revenue from any such party.

Naming a compound inside the App so that you can keep a record of it is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a representation that it is safe, effective, legal, or appropriate for you.

5. Regulatory status of peptides

You should understand the following before recording anything in the App:

• Many peptides are not approved for human use by the FDA or comparable regulators, and some are sold only as research chemicals explicitly labelled "not for human consumption".
• Some peptides have been placed on the FDA's list of substances that present significant safety risks when used in compounded preparations, or have been the subject of regulatory warnings.
• Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products, and their potency, purity, and sterility are not verified by the FDA.
• Several peptides are prohibited in competitive sport under the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List, including outside of competition.
• Marketing claims made by sellers of these products are frequently unsupported by adequate clinical evidence.

We state this not to discourage you from following a legitimate, supervised course of treatment, but because you should make decisions with full awareness of the regulatory landscape — and because Peptiq will never tell you that any of this is fine.

6. Legality varies by jurisdiction

The possession, importation, purchase, and administration of particular substances is lawful in some countries and unlawful in others, and rules may differ at national, state, and local level. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the law that applies to you. The availability of Peptiq in your App Store territory is not an indication that any substance is legal there.

7. Risks you accept

Injectable and other administered substances carry real risks, including but not limited to infection, injection-site reactions, allergic and anaphylactic reactions, unintended metabolic or hormonal effects, interactions with other medications, contamination or mislabelling of the product, dosing errors, and adverse effects that are unknown because adequate long-term studies do not exist.

By using Peptiq, you accept that these risks are yours, that they arise from your own decisions and those of your healthcare provider, and that Peptiq — which merely records what you tell it — bears no responsibility for them.

8. Reminders are a convenience, not a safeguard

Reminders are scheduled as local iOS notifications. They can be delayed, suppressed, or missed entirely for reasons outside our control, including notification permissions, Focus modes, Low Power Mode, background execution limits, time-zone changes, device restarts, and a device that is off or out of battery. Do not rely on Peptiq as your only means of remembering anything that matters.

9. Medical emergencies

10. No clinical relationship is created

Using the Services does not create a physician-patient, pharmacist-patient, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Peptiq or anyone associated with it. We do not review your entries, and no one at Peptiq is monitoring your log or your wellbeing. If you email us, we can help with the software; we cannot and will not answer clinical questions.

11. Reporting adverse events

If you experience an adverse reaction to any substance, contact your healthcare provider first. You can also report it to your national regulator — for example, the FDA's MedWatch programme in the United States, the Yellow Card scheme in the United Kingdom, or your national competent authority in the EU. Reports of that kind should go to the regulator and your clinician, not to us; we have no pharmacovigilance role and cannot act on them.

12. Your responsibility

By using Peptiq you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• Any regimen you record was established with, and is supervised by, a licensed healthcare professional.
• You will verify every value you enter, and will not rely on the App to catch a mistake.
• You will not use the App as a substitute for professional care or as a clinical decision-making tool.
• You accept full responsibility for your own health decisions and their consequences.

This disclaimer forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use — in particular the disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability in sections 12 and 13.
